Shelby has been obsessed with all things strength and conditioning related for over 10 years. He currently competes in Olympic weightlifting, and before that Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. He’s also developed powerlifters up to a western Canadian level. Shelby’s coaching style is very performance driven and he enjoys teaching clients to be able to perform barbell movements safely and with a high level of proficiency.
His ideal client is someone who is process oriented and willing to put in the work to push themselves (mentally and physically) to be better than they were previously. He cares about each individual’s struggle for improvement more the numbers being lifted
