Michael Teixeira
Hi, my name is Mike Teixeira, and I am a Pro Level Personal Trainer here at GYMVMT. As a certified personal trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a graduate of Brigham Young University-Idaho with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology, I’ve spent years studying the science of fitness and wellness. But I also know that fitness is more than just numbers and programs—it’s about creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, no matter what their starting point is.
Whether you’re new to lifting or coming back after an injury, I specialize in helping clients develop confidence and proper technique in the gym. My approach is rooted in two key philosophies: “Safety first, but let’s have fun,” and “Form first, weight second.” I believe that good form is the foundation for long-term success and injury prevention, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the journey along the way! My goal is to ensure that every client not only gets stronger but has a great time doing it.
I love to incorporate clients’ hobbies and interests into their workouts, making fitness a personalized, enjoyable experience that reflects your unique lifestyle!
I work with beginners, people who speak Spanish or French, and athletes who have injury concerns. With additional training in sports medicine, I’m passionate about guiding people back to their fitness goals while being mindful of injury prevention and recovery. Whether you’re lifting weights, learning new skills, or simply finding your groove, we’ll make sure you’re on the right path.
